Heritage worn forward

There is a lazy version of an Indian brand: a motif lifted off a monument, a Sanskrit word with no relationship to the product, and a story written after the fact. It reads as costume because it is.

The harder version is to take the idea rather than the ornament. Armour was engineered: weighted where the blow lands, cut away where the body needs to move. That is a performance brief, not a decoration.

So the Devanagari on these pages is not a pattern. It is a name, set at the scale it deserves, in a script that half this country reads first. The English and the Hindi are saying the same thing, and neither is the translation.

Heritage is not something you print. It is something you are held to.
